Thick, strong, stem and broad, dark-green leaves. Okay to top-ice. Available as "Gailan" shorter more tender variety "Gailan Miu". Staple vegetable used in all chinese cuisine, most commonly lightly boiled or lightly wok fried with garlic. Bursting with nutrients; Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Folates, and Carotenoids. Just one ounce of Gailan provides almost 33% of the daily value for Vitamin K (according to USDA).
